Pentagonal Star Pyramid

 

Today for maths we made a pentagonal star pyramid  this requires cutting out colored paper and then folded the dotted lines and then glued them together. In total there was three separate parts of the process the base and the middle and the top.

Maths-Polygons

Today we had to write about what is a polygons. A polygons is a shape that doesn't cross lines is 2D and have straight lines. I have sorted polygons into non and regular. Polygons do not intersect.
 

Polygons are named because of the different number of sides. Poly means = many  and gon = sides.

sailing

On Tuesday I went to lake rua for sailing.Our transport was a bus and a van. I went in the bus and sat with my friends. when we got there they split us into groups and then the people showed us how to make the dinghy.After that we went to have lunch we Had lunch to 20 or 15 minutes.After we had a lunch went to put my wetsuit.When I finish Putting my wetsuit I had to go back to are group and that She explain how to set down,control and stop the dinghy.After that we put the boats.It has funny because there were a lot of people Crashing.
